How this is calculated
We start from typical UK full-room costs at each finish tier - budget (flat-pack units, standard fittings), mid-range (semi-custom units, better appliances/sanitaryware), and premium (bespoke joinery, high-end appliances or fittings) - then scale by room size. Kitchens cost more than bathrooms of a similar size due to appliances and cabinetry.
